Managing Director & CEO, Godrej Capital

Manish Shah is Managing Director & CEO of Godrej Capital, a role he has held since 2019. He is building a differentiated financial services platform, anchored in its purpose of crafting prosperity through fair, fast and flexible financing, and has led the business from its inception, building it into a multi-product, multi-geography lending platform.

With over 25 years of experience in retail financial services, Manish brings deep expertise across secured and unsecured lending, credit cards, wealth management, and life insurance. Prior to joining Godrej Capital, he was Managing Director & CEO of BoB Financial. He has worked with organisations such as Citi India, CitiMortgage US, AEGON, and Bank of Baroda, and has held leadership roles across multinational corporations and public sector enterprises. He also co-founded a robo-advisory start-up that was later acquired by News Corp, marking one of India’s early fintech exits to a global organisation.

Manish holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a bachelor’s degree from Mumbai University.

He has also been an accomplished cricketer, representing Mumbai at the junior state and university levels for over a decade.
